With more than two decades of nonprofit financial leadership, Noah brings a unique blend of strategic vision and operational expertise to every client engagement. As founder of NRS Consulting, he specializes in providing outsourced CFO services, strategic finance counsel, and organizational leadership to help nonprofits navigate complex financial challenges and achieve sustainable growth. Prior to founding NRS Consulting, Noah served as the Chief Financial Officer at the Trustees of Reservation and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and has Master's degrees in Real Estate Development and City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Cindy Daly, Bookkeeper
Cindy's extensive experience in nonprofit and small business bookkeeping is marked by meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of accounting systems. Cindy specializes in day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting, ensuring that clients have clean, reliable books and peace of mind. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Southern New Hampshire University.
Shane Matthews, CPA
Shane focuses on accounting systems, budgeting and financial process improvement. His dual background in public accounting and industry practice enables him to deliver practical, results-oriented solutions tailored to each client's unique needs. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Saint Anselm College and a Master’s degree in Accounting from Northeastern University.
Will Simpson, Financial Consultant
Will combines analytical rigor with hands-on leadership experience, specializing in internal process enhancement and strategic budget management for nonprofit organizations. His background as a Director of Finance provides valuable insight into the operational realities facing nonprofit financial teams. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.
Amanda Starr, Accounting Associate
Amanda brings over a decade of experience in finance and administration, with a career spanning nonprofit organizations, education, and small business. Before joining NRS Consulting, she served as Senior Finance Coordinator at Family Voices, where she managed financial processes and supported nationwide program operations. Her background also includes roles at American Custom Contractors, Crossroads Continuum and The Children’s Village, where she worked on process improvement and cross-team collaboration. Amanda earned her B.A. from John Jay College (CUNY) and is known for her ability to blend precision with a people-first approach—keeping projects on track while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
